Are you the type of person who loves to nerd out on statistics, analyze game patterns, and watch sports with analytical lenses? Maybe you’ve followed baseball a little and understand the logic behind a “play”? Then we have a cool opportunity for you!
Baseball5 is a fast-paced, explosive and modern sport that combines the tactical depth of baseball with the intensity of street sports. We are building the foundation for the Danish national team, and now we need an Advance Scout who can help us get the overview through data.
Your mission
As our new Advance Scout, you will help us decode both our own game and our upcoming opponents. You will not be a coach – you will be our analytical eye from the outside.
Your primary tasks will be:
- Play-by-play notation: You must watch selected matches (live or recordings) and note the crucial actions in a structured Excel sheet.
- Pattern recognition: By collecting this data, you help us identify trends: Where are our opponents’ weaknesses? When are we most vulnerable?
- Strategic insight: Your data will become an important tool for the national team’s coaching staff when they have to plan tactics for the next big matches.
Who are you?
We’re not necessarily looking for an expert in Baseball5 – we have other people for that. We’re looking for someone with a “sports eye”:
- You are curious about data: You like to watch a match and translate what you see into something concrete (Excel is your playground).
- You understand baseball logic: It’s a huge advantage if you’ve watched baseball before, understand the basics of the game, and know how a “play” develops. If you’re a fan of MLB or similar, it’s only a plus.
- You work in a structured way: You thrive on being able to contribute from your own living room or wherever you have your computer.
