Play Baseball5 in your city
Baseball5 Denmark is always working towards growing the sport in Denmark. We welcome anyone who shows interest for this new sport and therefore, we will do everything we can to help you start up Baseball5 in your city!
If you are interested in starting up Baseball5 in your local area, please follow the steps below!

START PLAYING
Find 4 other friends and start your team and start playing. That’s all you need to have a B5 team in Denmark: Just the players and a time when you decide to practice.

CONTACT US
Contact us by filling out the form in the bottom of this page and we will help you with step 3 and 4.

FORM A “FORENING” OR JOIN ONE
– Write down your bylaws (vedtægter) – or generate them here
– Hold a founding general meeting (Stiftende generalforsamling)
– Register the “Forening” on virk.dk

You can also join a forening that already exist in your area, such as “idrætsforeninger” that allows for more than one sport-

DEVELOP YOUR CLUB/TEAM
– Have a scheduled practice weekly
– Grow the club by promoting it on social media, local media, word of mouth (we will help you)
– Play in tournaments, hosts tournaments, host social events for your club members (we will help you)
HOW CAN WE HELP?
Baseball5 Denmark, Dansk Softball Forbund and the Danish Baseball Federation will help you the best we can to ensure that your club and team will become a success! We can help you with the following:
EQUIPMENT
Although Baseball5 does not require a lot of equipment, we can help you get started by providing you balls & bases. We also have an event package with a professional setup for Open houses, Tournaments, City fairs and other events. The package is free to borrow for your event.
COACH TRAINING
We have a coach course that can help you develop as a coach to both ensure a higher level of play on your team, but also to ensure a fun and engaging team practice in your new club/team/community. Sign up for the course here
PROMOTION
We are building up a reach between the two federations, Baseball5 Denmark and the involved teams and clubs. Everyone is behind helping spread the word about your club.
TOURNAMENTS
We want to see Baseball5 tournaments spread out to more cities in Denmark. We can help you organize a tournament that fits your ambitions. Tournaments will also help create buzz around your club.
FUNDRAISING
Having a “forening” in Denmark means that you can start applying for grants and fund money from sponsors and alike. We have experience fundraising and can help you get started on the process of fundraising money for your club
